Who we are

netflixfifa.com (also reachable at fifanetflix.com) is an independent, fan-run news hub that links to third-party reporting about the upcoming FIFA × Netflix Games football title. It is not affiliated with FIFA, Netflix, Netflix Games, or Delphi. This policy explains what limited information we collect when you visit the site and how it is used. It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect more than the following:

  • Contact form.If you use the “Get in touch with us” form, we collect the name, email address and message you submit. The form is intended for enquiries from Netflix / Delphi about the domain names, and only accepts addresses on those companies’ domains. Submissions are delivered to us by email through our email provider (Resend).
  • Server & security logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs technical request data such as your IP address, browser/user-agent, the pages requested and timestamps, for security, debugging and abuse prevention.
  • Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, country, device type). It is privacy-friendly and, in its default configuration, does not use cookies or persistent identifiers and does not build a profile of you across sites.
  • Advertising.We display ads served through Google Ad Manager and Google’s advertising network. Google and its ad partners may set or read cookies and similar identifiers on your device and may collect data such as your IP address, device and browser information, and interactions with ads — see “Advertising and your choices” below.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Cookies and similar technologies on this site come from third parties — primarily Google’s ad services — and, where required, are only set after you have given consent through the consent banner described below. Some strictly necessary cookies may be used by our hosting/CDN provider to operate and secure the site.

Advertising and your choices

We use Google Ad Manager (and Google AdSense / AdX demand) to show advertising. Google acts as an independent controller of the data it processes for advertising. You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent message (a Google-certified Consent Management Platform that participates in the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework) before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used. Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — for non-essential cookies and personalised advertising (you can withdraw it at any time).
  • Legitimate interests — for keeping the site secure, preventing abuse, basic aggregate analytics, and responding to messages you send us.
  • Performance of steps prior to a contract — when you contact us about the domain names.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it except with the service providers that help us run the site, and where required by law:

  • Vercel — hosting, content delivery and web analytics.
  • Resend — delivery of contact-form messages by email.
  • Google — advertising (Google Ad Manager / AdSense / AdX) and the consent management messages.

These providers process data on our behalf (or, in Google’s case for advertising, as an independent controller) under their own terms and privacy policies.

How long we keep it

Contact-form emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Server and security logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider. Analytics data is aggregated and retained per Vercel’s defaults. Advertising-related data is retained by Google per its policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in California or another US state with a privacy law, you may have the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing”/targeted advertising use of personal information (you can exercise the latter through the consent/ad-choices tools above, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals where applicable).

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, those providers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

The core purpose of this site is to link out to news articles published by third parties. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices — their own privacy policies apply once you leave netflixfifa.com.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures (including HTTPS) to protect the limited information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
